Carolyn is now 10 weeks pregnant. Congratulations my dear! She has felt beyond miserable the last month with nausea and just general lethargy. The fog had lifted and she started feeling a lot better until she came down with a sinus infection. Now she can be found sprawled out on the couch sucking throat lozenges and encircled by her own snotty tissues. My hat is off to you women. I don't know how you do it. Hopefully, she will be back on her feet by Monday and feeling normal- whatever that is.
Thanksgiving is around the corner finally. I think of turkey, green bean casserole and garlic mash potatoes daily now. We'll see if we can have a calm Thanksgiving and not start a fire in the kitchen like last year or having any children getting their faces bit by agitated dogs (2001).
